Home :: Web Development Scripts :: HTML

HTML stands for “hypertext markup language”, and is considered one of the most standard of all website languages. HTML is the script code that is used when publishing websites to make sure that text comes out the way that a website user would like it to. Professional website designers usually know how to use this type of language and they use it to prepare professionally-looking customer website pages. The common person making a website generally does not need to know the entire language of HTML fluently. Instead, all that an average website creator needs to do is sign up for an easy website creation service, otherwise known by other names such as an easy site builder or design studio.

A site builder/design studio is a tool that used similar commands as most word processing programs. These commands are usually listed on a menu that a user points to and clicks on with a mouse. These design studios used what is normally called a W.Y.S.I.W.Y.G (what you see is what you get) type of software or an HTML editor. HTML editing software contains automatically all the buttons which would create a generated HTML code. For instance, a user just needs to press on the “bold” option or “underline” option on an HTML (or W.Y.S.I.W.Y.G.) editor and then the text, tables, and other objects are automatically formatted. When a text file is created using an HTML editor, it sometimes then can be automatically translated into HTML language. This is a function that most HTML editors have, which helps a user if that user wants to make small modifications to that code created after making it.

When a HTML code is created, it can be copied and pasted onto a website page that supports it. There may be a certain box that a user will need to place the code while working on a site. This is usually located in a website studio design page. One very popular example of the use of an HTML editor is the ones that are used to create Myspace pages. (Myspace is an online social meeting place that is largely geared towards teens, and some adults.) Often free Myspace HTML codes are displayed online after users have created them. Then, other people have the chance to take advantage of the use of those already-created HTML codes, and they do not need to take the time to create new ones.

Myspace color codes, Myspace audio and video clip codes, and more are displayed all over the Internet. Countless people already have used these free HTML templates in order to enhance the pages of their profile.
